According to foreign media reports,IBM and Samsung announced on Wednesday local time that the two companies will jointly develop semiconductor technology used in smartphones and other new products.
The two companies plan to study new chip materials,improve manufacturing processes,and develop chip products with smaller sizes and higher performance ratios.
The cooperation between the two companies comes at a time when more and more consumers and business users access the Internet through smartphones and tablets,creating a demand for new semiconductor technologies.
